How it Works: A better life in 5 steps

STEP 1: CONSULTATION & EDUCATION

At your consultation, we’ll discuss the problems you’re experiencing, observe your movement and pain points, and introduce you to our treatment methods. Your consultation is a great opportunity to ask a lot of questions, so you walk out feeling confident, informed, and empowered. We will typically also introduce some movement and self care strategies that can be implemented immediately to begin moving towards healing.

STEP 2: PLANNING & GOAL SETTING

To get results for your unique body and lifestyle, we need to create a treatment plan built for your body. Your consultation will inform our treatment plan, and we’ll continue to tweak and refine as you heal. I want to hear about your goals, concerns, and questions! The more invested you are in treatment, and the more I can tailor your plan, and the faster you’ll see results.

STEP 3: TREATMENT & HOMEWORK

Sessions are my chance to observe how your body is responding, perform bodywork needed to unlock movement, and guide you through the healing process. Sessions are also your opportunity to ask questions, refine technique, and mentally check-in about how you’re feeling and moving. Outside of our session is where the real magic blossoms, as the changes we make start to help you move better and live pain-free.

STEP 4: REHABILITATION

Much of the bodywork massage is done by this stage, and we begin transitioning into using your now reset muscles to move in a way that will stop causing degradation by re-learning how to properly stabilize the shoulder girdle, hip girdle, and core, and correctly activate and mobilize with your limbs.

STEP 5: MAINTENANCE

Congratulations — you’ve hit your goals and are moving and living better than ever before! We can schedule occasional check-ins to make sure you stay on the right track, but at this point you will be pain free and educated with the tools necessary to keep yourself feeling and moving well.
